WHAT TO EXPECT
If you’ve ever wanted the rock hard abs, svelte silhouette and super-human strength of a gymnast - this course is for you!
Borrowing from the key training techniques used by Russian Olympic gymnasts, we’ll show you what you need to do if you want to develop the strong & slender body of your dreams.
Based at the Cross Fit London gymnastics arch in Bethnal Green, this course will allow you to experience the benefits of our unique teaching method which draws on our highly specialised knowledge of Russian Olympic gymnastic training techniques, gained during five years spent training with the Russian Olympic Gymnastics coach, Vladimir Axenov (coach to Olympic Champion Olga Mostepanova).
From perfect press ups, to Russian levers, splits & bridges to the elusive muscle up - finally learn the secrets to developing strength and lean muscle mass without sacrificing flexibility and range of movement.
The course will use key gymnastics conditioning techniques as well as well work towards developing a number of fundamental gymnastics strength & mobility based moves including; Hollow body, arch, front & back support, toes to bar leg lift, gymnastic press up, handstand, pull up, pistol squat, turn out dips, L-sit to Russian lever, straddle lever to handstand, planche, strict muscle up, splits & bridge
No previous gymnastics experience necessary – all levels welcome however, to attend this course you must be able to sit down on the floor in a cross legged position and stand back up again without using your hands and hold a straight arm plank for 30sec
